John 4:18
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
It wouldn’t be radical to say that God’s love for us is perfect. He loves us so much that he sent his only Son to die for our salvation. God’s love is unquestionable, but often our love for Him is. Perfect love is something to strive for. No matter how strong your faith is, you can always practice loving more.
Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
No matter how hard life gets the Lord is by your side. Personally, I understand how especially in tough times feelings of loneliness flood the mind. However, it is written that God comes with us. We can always turn to Him when there doesn’t seem to be anyone else.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"
The Lord has a plan for us all. Live out your life faithfully knowing the future is in God’s hands. No matter what, as long as you are living for the Lord, you have nothing to worry about. Instead of dwelling on all the disappointments in life, be thankful for the knowledge that in the end it will be okay.
Hebrews 10:24-25
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
This verse encourages us to lift one another up. You should never stop spreading love. It is one of the foundations of Christianity is not all that demanding. Although you have probably clicked on this post for encouragement for yourself, it is important to remember there are other people that, too, need some support.
